Born and raised on the Central Coast, Lauren Buckley's first real taste of music commenced when she started singing lessons at age 9. Her influences in music are many including, Diana Krall, Amy Whinehouse, Michael Buble, Beyonce, Christine Aguilera, Alicia Keys and Joss Stone.
Lauren's performance environments have been equally varied and she has found 'happy musical homes' whether it be in television, arenas, community functions, restaurants, bars or private venues. Put simply, Lauren loves to perform no matter where that microphone is located.
Lauren's musical passion is modern, soul and jazz and it is in those genres that most of her music is based. That said, give her some rock and roll, pop or any style and she will send your musical senses to a new and inspiring level.
Her recent work involves a collective with the band SASS, where Lauren takes on the role of Lead vocalist. Success for Lauren is simply being able to perform ....it is what drives her enjoyment of the music profession.
